What forms are needed?
You will need your DD214 and the Kansas State University Veteran Information Sheet (PDF). You need to complete the form at the beginning of every semester.

What is the current BAH for K-State? 
In 2010, full-time students were receiving $1,074 a month. K-State Polytechnic students receive the same rate as K-State Manhattan students. Check here for the most current figure.

Does the Post-9/11 GI Bill cover the cost of flight fees if I am in the professional pilot program?
Yes, flight fees will be covered up to the FAA minimums for all ratings including private as long as you meet the criteria below and have an honorable discharge. The following criteria reflect the 2010 rate, as listed on the Department of Veterans website (Answer ID 947).

Will I be able to work and go to school? 
That depends on you and your course load. Most students do work at least a part-time job, but whether or not you work is your choice.
