UAS Law Enforcement Training

Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Law Enforcement Training

Developed with input from local and county law enforcement officials, this customized program will result in attendees acquiring the skills necessary to operate UAS for law enforcement purposes. Utilizing K-State's industry-leading technology, including FLIR and optical zoom sensors, pilots will learn the best ways to incorporate UAS into their law enforcement agencies. Simulated scenarios and flight training will take place at Crisis City Training Center.

What to Expect

During this course, pilots will receive extensive hands-on flight training, accumulating to roughly 8 hours. Schedules will vary depending on companies sending a single participant or sending two participants.
