FAA Aircraft Certification Professional Courses

Kansas State Polytechnic Aircraft Certification courses provide individuals the understanding and application of FAA regulations and processes used in aircraft type and production certification. Composed of four courses, students will learn to evaluate and analyze aircraft and navigate the FAA aircraft certification process upon completion of the courses.

Introduction to Aircraft Certification

The first course in the program provides an overview of the basic elements of the aircraft certification process. 

Aircraft Type Certification

The second course in the series, instruction will cover detailed examination of the design data process leading to issuing an airworthiness certificate. 

Aircraft Production Certification

Participants will thoroughly explore the elements of how products conform to an approved type design in the third course in the series.

Aircraft Certification Project

This culminating course in the series will be a self-guided study with focus on an applied project related to aircraft type or production certification.
