The CIT Program provides the following methods for obtaining certification:
1. Register for the Statistics class and pass the written exam.
Prerequisite: Pass Basic Math test at least 30 days prior to enrolled class date.
2. Register for the Statistics Quiz Out and pass the written exam. The Quiz Out option allows a person to take the written exam for certification without attending class. If this option is chosen, the individual is expressing their knowledge of the subject. The Statistics class book and workbook will be mailed to the address on the registration.
Prerequisite: Pass Basic Math test at least 30 days prior to enrolled exam date.
This course covers information in the Construction Manual Part V and is a key component of the KDOT Quality Control/Quality Assurance program.
The statistical analysis presented in this class allows KDOT to validate that contractor test data comes from the same population as KDOT results. These formulas assist contractors to determine the variance in their project.
