7 Steps to Fabulous Grant Writing
Today's nonprofit organizations must go beyond acts of charity and develop sustainable business models that transform lives over the long term. This training promises to teach key grant writing skills needed to write competitive proposals. Each presentation is tailored to meet the needs of the audience and emphasizes ways agencies can go the “extra” mile to make their grant proposals stand out amongst competitors.
Attendees may use this course for 6 continuing education credits. K-State Polytechnic is a pre-approved continuing education provider approved by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board. Provider number 15-005.
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
- Recognize the types of information that are a "must" for every proposal.
- Know how to find and work with the funders that are right for their specific agency needs.
- Understand the grant proposal review process.

A discounted rate is offered for companies or organizations sending multiple attendees. Discounts are tied to number of attendees as follows:

For companies or organizations sending more than four employees, discounts will be applied in the same increments as indicated above.
A discounted registration rate is offered to current graduate and post doctoral students. To be eligible for the academia discount, students should complete a scholarship application form and submit proof of enrollment status by April 18, 2017.
