Library Instruction Information
21st century academic libraries are so much more than a collection of books. K-State Salina Library staff work to enhance teaching and learning through physical and digital learning environments. We are always excited to meet with students and teach them how to best integrate library resources into their research assignments for class. Our staff collaborate with instructors to create meaningful learning experiences which support course learning outcomes and the K-State Vision 2025 expectations for student research. We highly encourage your attendance in the classroom during the instruction.
What We Offer
We provide instruction for all course levels and types, including undergraduate and graduate courses, and distance or hybrid courses. You can request customized instruction for your class or research assignment in a variety of formats, including face-to-face in your classroom, online guides/modules, a librarian embedded in your K-State Online course, or a hybrid of several methods.
Creating an Assignment
We would be happy to work with you on creating a research assignment for your students that matches both the needs of your class and our own student learning outcomes. That collaboration is something we do frequently with faculty on our campus and has had great results in the classroom and in the quality of sources selected by the students for their research. We can meet in the library or your office.
