About Ceferino Gimenez

Ceferino Gimenez brings 18 years of experience working as multilingual Instructor and examiner with one of the leading training providers, FlightSafety International of the Berkshire Hathaway holding of companies. Gimenez was hired from his country of origin, Paraguay, by FlightSafety (expatriated) in March 2000. He worked initially as a BE400 (Beechjet) instructor and examiner then was then promoted the HS-125 Hawker 700/800XP/850/and 900XP. In this capacity, he provided training to professional pilots from all over the world on Part 61/91/135/ILS Cat II/Domestic and European RVSM/ Specialty Airports and Alps Mountain operations. Gimenez provided trainings on initial qualification, upgrade and recurrent trainings in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages, and also speaks German. These trainings were provided in Level D Full Flight Simulators and in actual aircraft flight. He became an American citizen in February 2017.

Gimenez flew the HS-125 in the U.S., Central America, Europe and across the North Atlantic.

Before coming to the U.S., Gimenez flew the Turbo Commander 900/King Air B200 and Citation 500. He was hired as First Officer in the Boeing 707, then Douglas DC-8/DC-10. His first command appointment in the British Aerospace 146 was at age 31, and the Boeing 737 at age 34. At age 38 he was promoted to Captain in the Lockheed L1011 “Tristar.”

He was awarded the Gold Seal CFI appointed by FlightSafety. He was also awarded the Minuteman statue by the Massachusetts Air National Guard and won numerous medals and trophies in Tae Kwon Do. He recently received his Second Degree Black Belt, (Second Dan).     

Gimenez earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Technology from Kansas State Polytechnic and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Wichita State University. He holds certificates in Manager of Flight Operations and Human Resources from IATA, Geneva, Switzerland.
